Wouldn't stick to my dadh where I originally ally wanted ot to go but I stuck it to a different part and its been great. The magnet wouldn't work from inside my case but did on the outside.

I have 2 problems with the carmount - one of them has nothing to do with carmount itself. I will say that the phone has never fallen off the mount itself, so the concept works great.



1)My dashboard doesn't have any good open nontextured place to put my phone without getting in the way of other frequently used controls.

2) The bigger issue is that the metal plate that goes on the back of the phone blocks my wireless charging capability.

This renders my wireless charges useless.

I placed this in my moms Toyota Highlander. There weren't many places to mount. She made a long road trip and said the phone was good...not great. Would recommend to make sure you have a clear place to mount before purchase.

This magnet on this mount is incredible! Holds very well. However there is one big problem… The magnet that attaches to your phone is so big that it doesn’t work well with wireless charging. Thanks have an iPhone 12 and as Pope as the iPhones are, I would hope that I could enjoy this mount AND charge my phone wirelessly on my night stand. Unfortunately I can’t. I’d assume I’m not the only one. Otherwise, amazing mount.

My carmount looks nice and sleek. Unfortunately the magnet is not strong enough to hold my phone when my thin protective case is on the phone. It slides off the mount when I go around a corner. I feel like it is more important to protect my phone from dropping it than to mount it while driving and to remove the case while on long drives is an option, I will mount the second strip on the outside of the case and see if it works better.

This is a great phone mount which I would have given a 5 star, but one thing I read before I purchased and what made me buy this is that you can use a wireless charger even with the metal plate stuck to the back of your phone. That is NOT the case with an IPhone 12. You have to put the metal plate at the bottom of the phone so the wireless charger is able to charge your phone, but when you do that the mount does not work as stated. If you have to touch the screen on the top half of your phone while it is on the mount the phone will fall off very easily. So if you use a wireless charger, this is not the mount for you unless you attach the metal plate to the inside of your case and take your case off every time to charge.

The magnet itself is strong. The plate for the back of the phone however is not so strong. Once they waiver and or bend, it’s hard to get them to stay on the phone. The adhesive isn’t strong enough.
